Di’s husband, John, is at last taking the plunge and joining her on a much more regular basis in Seadogs Penryn workshop. He will be able to help with pattern making and some of the larger projects that need an extra pair of hands.
John has a pair of Apple PowerMacs which will give him enough computer capacity to undertake a range of design projects for private clients including 3D modelling.
John has spent many years working as a building designer and technician with PBWC Architects in St Ives and will be continuing with this work initially with a particular emphasis on “Eco Tecture” as opposed to Architecture.
He has a passionate interest in environmentally friendly design issues, alternative forms of energy and energy conservation.
Whilst he does not profess to be a qualified architect he has a degree in Environmental Science and has been a member of the Association of Environment Conscious Building and the Alternative Technology Association for many years.
Why don’t you contact us with details of your pet project and we can see if we can help!
The slide show above shows a selection of projects which John has worked on over the last two decades as part of the senior management team at Poynton Bradbury Wynter Cole Ltd..
